Kids immunization India Vs USA and Travel vaccines

Vaccinations are very important in the journey of life for any human.Especially the young ones need it on time.

This becomes essential for people travel between continents with kids, I searched enough to verify the immunization charts between the countries to get my kid vaccinated, since I had to move from USA to India and back from India to USA. This post is the result of it. It is always best to check with your pediatrician well before your travel dates for any specific vaccines for the area you will be traveling specifically.
** If you are in USA make sure you and you kid gets flu shots every year before the season. Flu season usually starts after summer, this is mostly covered under insurance in walk in clinics.

When you travel from India to USA, make sure you enroll your kid in your insurance well in advance and schedule a pediatrician appointment as soon as you reach USA and confirm your kid is up to date with her immunization schedule.

When you travel from the USA to India, talk to your pediatrician and schedule a travel vaccination appointment. They usually give Typhoid and Malaria and one other Vaccination which I don't remember the name now. They don't give (at least my pediatrician did not give) Malaria vaccination, if your travel date is with in 2 weeks time, since the vaccination require at least a month time to take effect. For kids over 2 years they give typhoid vaccine.
