Important Events of 2010 in United States

Already the reverse count down for welcoming 2011 has started...I just collected the major things happened in the United States this year....
  • Jan 12 - Earthquake in Haiti killed about 300k people and left a million people homeless
  • Jan 20 - Toyota recall on 5.2 million vehicles for pedal entrapment and floor mat issue
  • Jan 27 - iPad was introduced by Apple CEO Steve jobs
  • Feb 27 - A major earth quake in Chile with 8.8 magnitude on the Richter scale killed 800 lives
  • Apr 20 - Deep-water Horizon oil explodes in the Gulf of Mexico killed elven workers
  • May 04 - Children Tylenol recalled
  • May 10 - Goldman Sachs investigations found that billions of dollars were made from the clients money when the housing market collapsed
  • Oct 12 - 33 Trapped mine workers were rescued after 69 days battle for life
  • Oct 19 - Cholera outbreak struck Haiti took away 2200 lives
  • Dec 02 - Wikileaks dump of U.S cables made headlines to most of the news channels
  • Dec 27 - An online polling says Obama as world's most inspired person 2010
